Everything you love about Goodnotes Classroom will be available directly inside the main Goodnotes app. Known as Goodnotes Education, we’re providing a simpler, all-in-one space for school and personal use.
What’s changing?
We want to keep things simple by having students and teachers in the same place - and given our main app carries users from school, to university, and through work, we think it’s the best place to be.
The layout and features will look just like the Goodnotes Classroom you know and love, but under a different name (Goodnotes Education) and accessed via our main app.
What if I already have a Goodnotes personal account?
Now you can keep all your notes streamlined! Make sure to back up your files in both apps and go through the process outlined in our step-by-step guide.
If you use your school email address for your personal subscriptions, you’ll be moved onto your organization’s subscription rather than your personal one. To keep your personal subscription, you can change to a different email address.
When do I need to migrate?
You can make the switch anytime from now until August 31st, 2026 before we deprecate the Goodnotes Classroom app - so you can decide the most convenient time to make the switch. We recommend doing so as soon as possible, as we won’t be introducing any new features, or making any improvements or updates to Goodnotes Classroom from now on.
It’s really important to migrate by August 31st in order to keep all your Class Folders and personal documents in place.
