In 2010, our founder, Steven Chan, was a Maths student in Australia, frustrated by messy notebooks and lost pages of handwritten equations. So he built Goodnotes. First for himself, then for the world. What began as a one-person passion project, bootstrapped and profitable from day one, has grown into a global team shaping how people capture, organize, and act on their ideas.
