I'm an educator and instructional technology leader based in Anchorage, Alaska. I began my career in the elementary classroom before advancing to district-level technology leadership. For 19 years, I served as an Apple Professional Learning Specialist on a national education team, partnering with schools across the United States—including rural Alaskan communities—to design and implement meaningful technology integration that strengthens teaching and learning. Today, as a U.S.-based Goodnotes specialist, I collaborate with educators and school systems to advance innovative, effective digital learning experiences at scale.

教員研修・ワークショップおよびインストラクショナルコーチングを通して、現場の教育者を日々支援。カナダにて小学校を中心に中学・高校・大学まで、計16年間の教員経験を有する。AppleのWorldwide Education部門では4年間、日本国内の教育者向け研修プログラムの統括を担当し、ICT活用の実装支援に従事。Goodnotes認定トレーナーとして、iPadとGoodnotesを活用した実践的な学びをサポート。マギル大学にて教育修士号を取得し、ハーバード大学でも教育学を探求。国内外の多様な学校環境に適した革新的な教育手法の導入・統合を支援している。

I am passionate about helping educators grow in confidence, thrive in their practice, and deepen their impact on learners. I draw on 16 years of K-12 classroom teaching in Canada and 4 years at Apple on the Worldwide Education team, where I led professional learning programs for Japanese educators. As a Goodnotes Certified Education Trainer, I supports teachers through workshops and instructional coaching, helping them integrate Goodnotes in ways that genuinely enhance learning. I hold an MA in Education from McGill University and multiple certificates from Harvard. I specialize in bridging innovative pedagogical approaches with the realities of diverse school environments.

I am a teacher and education consultant specialising in inclusive teaching, digital learning, and accessible classroom practice. With over a decade of experience supporting schools across the UK and internationally, I work with teachers and leaders to embed technology in ways that improve access, engagement, and meaningful impact in the classroom.

My work focuses on helping schools design inclusive and accessible learning environments that support a wide range of learners, including pupils who may experience barriers such as dyslexia, ADHD, or other neurodivergent learning profiles. I coach teachers and work directly with learners across primary, secondary, further education (FE), and higher education (HE) settings, supporting organisations to use digital tools in ways that remove barriers to learning and increase engagement.

As a trainer working with Goodnotes Education, I support schools and education organisations to integrate digital note-taking and creative learning workflows into everyday teaching. I genuinely love working with Goodnotes because it gives learners flexible ways to think, capture ideas, organise their thinking, and show their learning in ways that work for them. My sessions focus on practical classroom strategies, accessibility, and helping educators build confidence using digital tools with their learners.

I was a music and physical education teacher and retired early due to illness.

I have been an iPad trainer for 14 years and have trained over 20,000 teachers in using iPads. I have used GoodNotes since it was first released, and it has been an integral part of my workshops in schools ever since.

Ich bin Förderschullehrer für emotionale und soziale Entwicklung. An der Schule bin ich neben der unterrichtlichen Tätigkeit auch für die Einrichtung der 1:1 iPad Ausstattung zuständig. Seit 2020 bilde ich online aber auch live Lehrkräfte im Bereich iPad Nutzung, TaskCards und Goodnotes fort. Seit 2026 auch Goodnotes Education.

Seit 2018 gestalte ich die digitale Bildung und Lehrkräfteweiterbildung aktiv mit. Mit der Fächerkombination Mathematik und Geschichte begleite ich als Projektreferent der Digitalakademie der Converge Germany Schulen auf ihrem Weg zur digitalen Transformation und befähige Lehrkräfte dabei, digitale Werkzeuge effektiv im Unterricht einzusetzen und Lernumgebungen zukunftsorientiert, kreativ und nachhaltig zu entwickeln.

Ich bin unter anderem seit 2023 als Apple Professional Learning Specialist und seit 2025 als Goodnotes Certified Education Trainer zertifiziert.

Since 2018, I have been actively shaping the landscape of digital education and teacher professional development. Combining my background in Mathematics and History, I serve as a Project Consultant for the Digital Academy at Converge Germany. In this role, I support schools on their journey toward digital transformation and empower educators to integrate digital tools effectively into the classroom.

My focus is on developing learning environments that are future-oriented, creative, and sustainable. My certifications include Apple Professional Learning Specialist (since 2023) and Goodnotes Certified Education Trainer (since 2025).

Ich bin Lehrerin an einem niedersächsischen Gymnasium und beschäftige mich seit vielen Jahren intensiv mit digitalem Arbeiten im Schulalltag. An meiner Schule bin ich außerdem als Administratorin für die schulischen iPads tätig. Goodnotes begleitet mich dabei täglich im Unterricht, in der Organisation und in der Zusammenarbeit mit Kolleg:innen. Als Goodnotes Education Certified Trainer gebe ich Fortbildungen, die sich am echten Schulalltag orientieren. Mir ist wichtig zu zeigen, wie Goodnotes Lehrkräfte entlasten, Strukturen vereinfachen und Sicherheit im digitalen Arbeiten geben kann, praxisnah, alltagstauglich und mit einem guten Gefühl.

Beruflich als Biologe und Uni-Referent in den frühen 2000er gestartet,  berate und unterstütze ich seit 2014 Schulen und Lehrkräfte als Apple Learning Specialist bei der ACS Group in Ottobrunn bei München. Apple Geräte begleiten mich dabei seit den frühen 90er Jahren.
