Habitat for Humanity International
Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing. Since its founding in 1976, Habitat has built, rehabilitated, repaired or improved more than 350,000 houses worldwide, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more than 1.75 million people. Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center
The mission of the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center is to increase the sustainable use and conservation of native wildflowers, plants and landscapes. Founded in 1982, this special place exists to introduce people to the beauty and diversity of wildflowers and other native plants. Every day, the Wildflower Center brings life to Mrs. Johnson’s vision in its public gardens, its woodlands and sweeping meadows as well as in internationally influential research. International Planned Parenthood Federation
International Planned Parenthood Federation is comprised of six regional offices that provide services ranging from sexuality education, contraceptive services, and prenatal care to HIV testing, abortion-related care, and screening for gender-based violence. IPPF also acts as an advocate for sexual and reproductive rights at the local and international levels. Their clients are women, men, and adolescents from diverse economic, cultural, and geographic backgrounds. See note >>
Sonoma Land Trust
The Sonoma Land Trust works closely with private landowners, the Sonoma County Agricultural Preservation and Open Space District and other public agencies at all levels of government, nonprofit partners, and foundations. Since 1976, Sonoma Land Trust has protected more than 25,000 acres of beautiful, productive and environmentally significant land in and around Sonoma County. See note >>
San Francisco Baykeeper
Founded in 1989, Baykeeper’s mission is to protect and enhance the water quality of the San Francisco Bay for the benefit of its ecosystems and human communities. Baykeeper fills a unique water quality niche in the Bay Area by acting as the watchdog for the Bay and enforcing clean water laws in order to protect and restore the watershed. See note >>
